Developed in close partnership with HED Cycling, the Berd Peregrine Carbon Aero wheels pair the lightweight efficiency and ride-improving comfort of Berd Polylight spokes with HED’s advanced aerodynamic rim design. The outcome is a class-leading aero wheelset built for speed, stability, and comfort.
At its core is the HED Vanquish V62 rim platform—one of the most aerodynamically refined rim profiles available. Handcrafted in Minnesota, Peregrine wheels uphold HED’s legacy of world-class performance. With drag numbers as low as -100g, these rims minimize aerodynamic drag to offer some of the fastest, smoothest rides on the market.
Featuring a 62mm rim depth and a 22.4mm internal width with a hooked bead, Peregrine Carbon Aero wheels can accommodate 28 to 55c tires at pressures up to 75 psi. (25c tires)
Berd Polylight spokes anchor the Peregrine’s performance. Constructed from a proprietary polymer composite, they deliver exceptional strength-to-weight ratio alongside built-in vibration damping. This combination lightens the wheels without sacrificing stability, effectively reducing the harsher ride quality often associated with deep-section aerodynamic rims.
You can choose between Berd's flagship Berd Talon Road hubs, or black Industry Nine Solix Centerlock hubs for your build. For a more distinctive wheelset, opt for the Onyx Vesper Hook Flange hubs—completing a fully Minnesota-made product.

________
Technology:
Berd spokes are made from an advanced polymer called ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) that has 12 times the strength-to-weight ratio of steel and floats on water. Berd spokes have an improved fatigue life compared to steel and are impervious to the elements.
