Where is Bikecomponents.ca from?
We’re a new but scrappy and dynamically growing Canadian company located in Waterloo, Ontario. If you’re trying to get in touch, and we don’t immediately get back to you, we’re probably out riding the local Hydro Cut trails.

Is the item I’m ordering in stock?
If you can add to the cart, then yes, it is in stock and available for immediate shipping. In the unlikely event that something you order ends up being unavailable, we will contact you with options, including a full refund, immediately.

My Shimano parts didn’t include a retail box. Why?
Most of the Shimano components available through us are OEM parts/components and as such are not packaged in the typical retail boxes you might be accustomed to. This also saves on package size (and to some extent, weight), reducing shipping costs. Rest assured all the parts are brand new and 100% authentic.

How much is shipping?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and vary by item and order. Mostly everything has a flat shipping rate of $29.95, but orders over $200 ship FREE!

What countries do you ship to?
Currently we ship to Canada, USA, UK & Ireland. 

Who do you ship with?
Most orders are shipped with DHL Express. Some orders are shipped with Canada Post.

How long before my order ships?
Most orders are verified, processed, packed, and shipped out within 1-2 business days. “Business days” are defined as Monday to Friday, except for legal holidays. Bike shipping lead times are slightly longer, please call or drop us a line to confirm.

Will I be notified when my order ships?
Yes, you will receive an email as soon as you order is shipped. This will be sent to the email address you providing when placing your order so please ensure its correct.  

Where do you ship from?
In order to provide you with the best possible prices on the items we sell, we often work directly with international bike companies and suppliers. For example, Liteville e-bikes and bikes ship directly from their German factory, some parts from a distributor in Squamish, BC, Canada while most Shimano components and groupsets ship directly from our supplier in Hong Kong.

Can I track my order?
Yes! Note that you may first receive a non-trackable ten digit "hand-off" number, which typically starts with 41 , 43 or 44. This signifies that you order has been picked, packaged and is waiting for pickup by DHL. Once available, you will receive another email with an updated and trackable DHL number. It may take another day or two to start moving, but once it does, it will arrive quite quickly, so keep a close eye on it from thereon out! 
For DHL shipments, you can use dhl.ca to follow progress.

Duties and customs fees for orders that ship from abroad?
We do our best to ensure that the price you pay is the “to your doorstep” price. In some very rare instances, customers are charged customs fees by the courier. If you do incur any unexpected duties / charges, please get in touch and we'll do our best to make it right.

How long until I have my order?
Most customers in Canada, US, UK & Ireland will have their order in-hand within 10 business days or less. Some orders and delivery regions may take up to 15 business days. Some bikes listed may be a pre-order, as noted on the applicable product pages.  

Do you offer local pickup?
Unfortunately, at this point we don’t offer local pickup. We do offer free shipping on orders over $200.
