The Hope Tech 4 E4 draws on more than 25 years of Hope's hydraulic brake design and manufacturing know-how. Completely new internal seals cut friction, and the lever pivot now runs on roller bearings, which allowed Hope to dial back the return spring rate. That lighter spring translates to an easier lever pull, lowering rider fatigue while preserving the hallmark Hope feel and modulation.
The revised E4 caliper employs hybrid stainless-steel pistons with phenolic inserts for smoother action and reduced upkeep, yet it still shrugs off extreme heat without transferring it into the system.

- Hybrid-style pistons that allow smoother movement and require less maintenance, and a phenolic insert to manage heat transfer during extreme use.
- The Tech 4 retains the tool-free bite point and reach adjustments from the Tech
