The Hope Tech 4 V4 is Hope's most powerful brake and leverages more than 25 years of hydraulic brake expertise. Brand-new internal seals cut down friction, and the lever pivot now rides on roller bearings, allowing for a lower return-spring rate. That softer spring delivers a lighter lever feel, easing hand fatigue while preserving the trademark modulation and feedback riders expect from Hope brakes.
The revised V4 caliper features hybrid stainless-steel pistons with phenolic inserts, promoting smoother piston travel and lower upkeep. This construction also handles extreme heat without passing it into the system, so performance stays consistent even under brutal braking conditions.

- Shifter integration has been improved and now offers 30° of angle adjustment as well as neater packaging and compatibility with the latest shifters. Lateral adjustment on both sides of the master cylinder is also possible to give a wide range of lever position options.
- Hybrid-style pistons that allow smoother movement and require less maintenance, and a phenolic insert to manage heat transfer during extreme use.
- The Tech 4 retains the tool-free bite point and reach adjustments from the Tech 3
