01- New Linear Steering Geometry
With 64,5°, the 301 Mk15 features a 1.5° flatter steering angle than the 301 Mk14. With a steering angle as flat as this, so far, front wheels tended to unfavourably "nose-dive".
The new Linear Steering Geometry now combines a flatter steering angle of 64,5° with a reduced fork offset which leads to an unprecedented degree of agility with big diameter front wheels. In fast corners and when riding at the very limit, the steering remains super stable and thus safe.
02 - DuoLink & LevelTune
27,5˝ or 29˝ wheels? The 301 Mk15 is prepared for both.
With the new 301 Mk15 in sizes M, L and XL, it is you who decides which wheel size you fancy. The frame has no restrictions and can easily adapt from 27.5" to 29" or vice versa.
How is this possible?
The different wheel diameters of 27.5" and 29" require small and big adjustments of the geometry such as shorter/ longer chain stays, an adjustment of the bottom bracket offset and of the fork insert length.
With the help of DuoLink and LevelTune, the bike can be adapted to both wheel diameters in order to benefit from the individual advantages.
Thanks to the slightly shorter wheelbase and the smaller wheel diameter, the 301 Mk15 with 27.5" wheels convinces with its superb agility. If you like tight corners, you will adore the 301 Mk15 with 27.5" wheels.
29˝ Speed & stability:
The longer wheelbase and the bigger diameter wheels allow for more speed riding downhill and more traction riding uphill. If you prefer efficiency and safety, you will adore the 301 Mk15 with 29" wheels.
DuoLink, a matter of adjustment
Depending on the rear wheel diameter, the rear frame of the 301 Mk15 can be ridden with two decisive chain stay lengths. The front position is recommended for the smaller version wheel and the rear position for the bigger version wheel.
When changing the position, the rear dropout is moved not only towards the front or back, but towards the "rear/ top" or the "front/ bottom". This way, the DuoLink rear dropout levels out the different wheel diameters. With the movement upwards or downwards, the bottom bracket height almost remains the same, regardless of the wheel size.
LevelTune Geometry adjustment
With the help of the LevelTune bearing shell adapter, the difference between 27.5" and 29" front wheels and the different fork heights respectively is compensated. Riding the 301 Mk15 with 27.5" front wheels, the LevelTune is mounted to the frame. For 29" front wheels, a common bearing shell is needed.
LevelTune can be easily screwed into the frame not reducing the well-known stiffness of a Liteville frame at all.

03 – Scaled Rear-end
In order to preserve the agility of 27.5" and 29" wheels, unnecessarily lengthening the chain tubes was taboo. We needed clearance where there was none: in the area of the swing arm bearing and the seat tube. We have consequently moved the seat tube towards the front and thus created space with an unusual yet an all-new and innovative solutions. The 301 Mk15 is developed for 27.5" and 29" wheels offering an unprecedented degree of agility for big diameter wheel mountain bikes. The result: a degree of agility unheard of in the bike industry.
04 – Scaled Sizing
A bike like a made-to-measure suit. There are tall riders and small riders, some with longer and some with shorter legs. One size does not fit all. Liteville has a goal to provide everyone with the best possible riding experience, no matter their size.
A: Frame length instead of frame size
Strictly spoken, the frame sizes of Liteville bikes are frame lengths. This is to say that the distance between the bottom bracket and the top tube is almost identical for all frame sizes, yet the length of the frame is not. As a results riders with a long upper body yet short legs can ride a bigger or longer frame.
B: Consequently developed: Scaled Rear End
Does it make sense to have an XXL rider have the same rear frame length as an S rider? Being consequent, every component of the frame should fit the overall frame proportionally, depending on the frame length. As the only manufacturer in the industry, we use up to five different rear frame sizes and thus offer a perfectly fitting system overall. Even the travel transmission ratio for frame lengths M to XXL are adapted to usually heavier riders.
C: Wheels fitting frames
As one out of very few manufacturers, we take advantage of the full wheel size range available. For example: For a S frame, we use 27.5˝ wheels, the intermediate frames come with 27.5˝ or 29˝ and XXL frames with 29˝ wheels.
D: Made-to-measure cockpit
Syntace handlebars are available with different rises and different bents (8° and 12°, only MTB). The width of most handlebars can be adapted, too. Syntace stems are available in different lengths and most of them can be used up-side-down (with positive or negative angle).
E: EIGHTPINS seat posts with different sizes
The variable seat post by EIGHTPINS is available in four different sizes to fit different body sizes and riding styles. The seat post travel range stretches from 150 to 216 mm. The travel and the height adjustment can be adjusted individually.

G: Up to three different crank arm lengths

H: Pedal sizes
The Syntace NumberNine is the first ever pedal that is available not only in one single size but three proportionally different ones. Apart from the shoe size, the perfect size depends on the width of the sole of the rider’s shoe and the intended riding style.
05 – EVO6 Frame Standard
As with the Boost standard, Liteville widened the hub dimensions from 142 mm to 148 mm. The EVO6 standard, however, is a further evolution of the Boost standard since Liteville were able to not only increase the stiffness of the rear wheel, but also improve the chain line.

(1) 142 mm hub
The rim is not aligned centrally between the two hub flanges (62%/38%). This results in highly unequal spoke tensions between the spokes of the drive side and the non-drive side.
(2) 148 mm Boost hub
The hub is widened on both sides by 3 mm each, yet there is no positive effect on the spoke tension as the ratio of 62% to 38% remains the same.
(3) 148 mm EVO6 hub
The hub is widened by 6 mm only on the drive-side. The hub flange of the non-drive side moves towards the center of the hub slightly, the hub flange of the drive side is moved outwards significantly. The result is an almost symmetrical and thus noticeably stiffer and more durabel rear wheel.
With the bigger rear hub standard, the insert dimensions of the rear frame need to be worked on, too. This is where the difference between Boost and EVO6 comes into play. Rather than simultaneously widening the rear frame by 3 mm on both sides, the EVO6 frame standard has the drive side chain stay and seat tube stay move towards the outside by 6 mm. The rear frame is asymmetrical, which allows us to build a wheel with the superior advantages stated above.
The chain line
With the cassette (1) being moved outwards with the EVO6 standard by 6 mm, the chain line (2) is altered also. The chain ring is moved outwards by 3 mm, the Q-factor (3), however, remains the same. With the 3 mm offset, the chain is bent less running on the smaller sprockets leading to a better chain guidance, less friction, and thus less chain wear.
With the off-center spoke pattern of EVO6 rear wheels, Liteville were able to build our wheels with similar length spokes for both the drive and the non-drive side. As the spokes therefore also feature the same spoke angle, the spoke tensions are identical for every single spoke with the forces inside the wheel being delivered and spread out evenly. Tension peaks stressing single spokes extraordinarily can be avoided this way leaving the entire wheel being a lot more stable than commonly built wheels.

06 - EIGHTPINS dropper seat post
The next evolutionary step with integrated seat posts. More stroke. No shortening. Quick and easy height adjustment with large adjustment band width.
The seat tube of the bicycle frame becomes the immersion tube and housing of the Eightpins seat post. The thick continuous standpipe fits seamlessly into the design of the bike. The large overlap between seat post and frame as well as the large tube diameter ensure low wear and low service forces. The Eightpins sliding guide in combination with the outer sleeve for sealing and lubrication ensure long reliable operation. Dirt is effectively prevented, and an oil bath lubricates the seat post reliably.
07 – Service Port
A big port with a lot behind it. At the bottom side of the down tube, close to the bottom bracket, Liteville integrated a big service port. The access simplifies the cable routing and may even host a Di2 battery.
08 - NCP & cable routing
Internal cable routing for the brake hose as well as the shifting and EIGHTPINS cables make for clean look and perfect function.
09 - Rear shock linkage
At first sight, the frame of the Liteville 301 can hardly be distinguished form a conventional mountain bike frame where the damper is placed parallel underneath the top tube. The main difference is that the damper is not mounted at the front of the frame, but at the rear where the top tube and the seat tube meet.
Designing the damping system this way is the result not of the idea to simply construct something different. It was our goal to design a four-bar linkage with a mature basis. Damping forces are to be led into the frame as subtly as possible in order to protect both the damper and the frame.
The main advantage hereby is that the forces that come from the rear triangle of the frame are led into the main frame where it is most stable: exactly where the top tube and the seat tube meet. On top of this, the force is neutralized in parts by the forces led into the frame by the rider’s weight. Conventionally designed mountain bike frames that have the damper placed underneath the top tube face another problem. The forces by the rider and by the impacts of the rear framework in the same direction and thereby unnecessarily stress the frame.
10 – DynaLevel
Monitoring and adjusting the sag without a rubber O-ring or cable tie. It is possible to do this while sitting on the bike, even while riding.
11 - X-12 thru axle
It is the sensational weight of no more than 39g, the unsurpassed stiffness and the super easy handling mounting and removing the rear wheel that make the system perform like no other on the market.
12 - Rear derailleur hanger
The rear derailleur hanger is part of the Syntace X-12 thru axle. This holistic approach to the construction and design of the axle system allows for an entirely new solution.
Despite the fact that one can easily replace the hanger even on the trail, it is a lot stiffer than any of its competitors. The reason for this is simply that it is not the hanger itself that bends during a crash but the screw holding it. It is the screw, that breaks, not the hanger itself. A spare screw is conveniently and ingeniously in the frame.
13 - Material and frame stiffness
Why Liteville frames are made from Aluminum? Liteville has yet again impressively proven in the BIKE Magazine Enduro comparison that Aluminum is the material to beat if you know how to handle it.
Further improved wall thicknesses for a weight reduction of 100 to 150 g despite a series of new, inbuilt features such as the Eightpins interface, the internal cable routing or the ServicePort.
Both as to the STW comparison (“stiffness to weight” ratio) and as to the comparison of absolute frame weights, Liteville frames remain unmatched.
